Some weeks ago we have finally delivered a new equipment hire catalogue for crane and access hire company Schares from Bocholt in Germany.
For many years Schares is already using an equipment guide which we have updated several times since the first setup. Of course this guide also covers all of the specifications and dimensions of the access platforms from their rental fleet.
Schares not only adds new types of access platforms continuously, but they also offer more and more bigger platforms.
According to the growth of the rental fleet the access rental division has an increasing importance for the whole company.
That's why the access hire people from Schares decided to have a separate equipment hire catalogue for the growing number of customers.
Equipment hire catalogue for Schares
In January they ordered an individual equipment hire catalogue with us. So we started with the preparation of the catalog based upon the access platforms that were already included in the equipment guide. Over the course of the year several new types of platforms were added to the rental fleet which off course had to be added to the platform brochure too. The equipment hire catalogue comprises 16 pages and covers dimensioned drawings, working ranges and specifications from all access platforms in the rental fleet, including
- Scissor lifts from Aichi, Genie, HAB and Liftlux
- Articulating boom lifts / Cherry pickers from Aichi and JLG
- Telescopic booms with crawler tracks
- Trailer mounted booms / Cherry pickers from Omme and Denka Lift
- Truck mounted booms from Palfinger, Wumag and Bison
Schares runs access platforms with a maximum lifting heights of up to 43 m in their own fleet. For hire enquiries with lifting heights of more than 43 m or nationwide enquiries the platform hire company can access more than 7500 access platforms from the rental pool of System Lift. That's the reason why the brochures has the title "nationwide access hire".
The last pages of the platform catalog show the detailed specifications of the telescopic handlers and fork lifts that are also hired out from Schares. We have been working for several other access platform companies before, just like Felbermayr or Prangl, but incidentally this equipment hire catalogue gave us the final impulse to create a concrete service for access platform hire companies too. Since June of this year we offer the specialised preparation of individual equipment hire catalogues for access hire companies.
Operator training for access platforms
Beside hiring out access platforms, Schares also offers qualified operator training for access platforms. In the course of this operator training the participants can gain the System Card which is a qualified training certificate.
This access platform operator training should be presented in a separate leaflet. Parallel to the setup of the equipment hire catalogue we also setup this operator training flyer.
More tasks from Schares are already on our desktop. Next item will be the layout of a calendar for 2013 as well as a separate brochure and a flyer for the crane hire division.
